After School Martial Arts Training Program:

We offer an outstanding Martial Arts Training Program for Kids. Training begins when school lets out. Students in our After School Martial Arts Training Program tend to progress quicker due to the fact they are training everyday. If you want to see positive changes in your child, give us a call, we can help! Samurai Karate Dojo picks-up children from local schools. Our program includes Karate classes, homework assistance, and life skills activities.

KARATE: (For Children and Adults)

Okinawan Goju-Ryu KARATE: Developed in Naha, Okinawa in the late 1800's with its roots in Southern Chinese Martial Arts. Goju-Ryu literally means HARD and SOFT. So it is the style of Hard and Soft martial arts, similar to the Ying and Yang concepts that balance each other into perfect harmony for self-defense and total wellness. Our principal of training includes the MIND, BODY and SOUL. We believe that you cannot train one without the other. Martial arts training is not only about self defense, but discipline, confidence, and character development as well. We believe that our children, our youth and adults need a strong MIND, BODY and SOUL.


Aiki Ju Jit Su/Grappling

Aiki Ju Jit Su is the base foundation of Goju Ryu karate. Our Ju Jit Su techniques is the application for the (Ju) or soft part of our style Goju Ryu ( Hard/Soft) style. Applications include, pressure points, take downs, joint locks, grappling (ground fighting).



This program is designed for anyone who is too busy to participate in a regular Karate program.


Our comprehensive self defense course includes:

  • Real-life combat scenarios
  • Defense against armed and unarmed attackers
  • Bionic self defense (use and implementation of various useful weapons)

This program is open to men and women 14 years and up. Our instruction is designed as real-world, street effective self-defense designed to give you the chance to survive an assault and escape. Training can be intense both physically and mentally, and students need to understand that this training is "hands-on" in order to develop self-defense responses in the face of "adrenaline pumping" fear.

Samurai Karate Dojo has been offering instruction and training in traditional martial arts and fitness to the public for several years. Our goal is to provide professional instruction in a variety of traditional martial arts and self-defense programs, including traditional Goju-Ryu Karate, AIKI Ju Jit Su, Cardio Kick Boxing and Women’s "Fight Back" Self-Defense. We seek to improve and better ourselves as students and citizens through the discipline and training of the martial arts.
